Reliability and Hardware Security are vital in guaranteeing reliable, secure, and trustworthy electronic devices, such as Integrated Circuits (ICs), Embedded Systems, and connected objects for the Internet of Things (IoT). Due to the multidisciplinary nature of these two domains and the fact that they spread across both hardware and software domains, they evolve rapidly in multiple technological directions, creating the need for consistent and complete educational programs in these fields demanding collaboration among multiple institutions.
The EMNESS project is an ERASMUS+ Cooperation partnership initiative with the goal of structuring an innovative academic curriculum on Reliability and Hardware Security.
Within this international collaboration, the professors will be able to improve their programs through the exchange of ideas, further purchase of equipment, and training practices. Ameliorating the existing courses and laboratories and creating new educational activities (courses, academic laboratories, and projects in collaboration with the industry) will lead to successful educational programs.
The EMNESS Erasmus+ cooperation partnership project is the continuation of a previous project supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes area.
