Work Package 2

Development of real case study (taking into account certification)

WP2 will deal with the creation of concrete case studies for improving laboratories. Politecnico di Torino, Grenoble INP Esisar, and Grenoble INP Phelma will be the partners involved in this work package. The partners will complement a strong Teaching experience in using commercial EDA tools and solutions to investigate the topics of Testing, Fault Tolerance, and Cybersecurity with equally advanced expertise in the associated research domains. The goal is to improve the digital skills of students, professors, and engineers when designing complete embedded systems from the hardware up to the software layer, taking into account risk analysis connected to safety and security.

WP2 is divided into three sub-work packages ( WP2.1, WP2.2 ):

  • WP2.1 focuses on the creation of new lectures and labs aiming at improving the capability of designing realistic secure and safe embedded systems.
    • WP2.1.2: Development of secured IoT applications (lab: First App with Quartus + Tutorial )
    • WP2.1.3: Black-box conformity testing and code coverage issues illustrated on Finite State Machine Specifications (lab zip)
  • WP2.2 aims at integrating into curriculums the use of state-of-the-art commercial and university-developed software for secure and safe embedded systems design.

The present sub-page will soon be updated with the first obtained results of WP2.
